Psalms 102 - 104 (30th April)

Psalms 102

It was written by someone (anonymous) who was in distress and crying to God for help (v 1, 2). It also shared about the Lord will restore Jerusalem (Zion) and all the nations will worship the Lord on the last days (v 16-22). You can always trust the Lord because He is a living God, an eternal and unchanging God.

Psalms 103

This is one of the favorite Psalms that usually quoted to bring encouragement to many people facing with sicknesses and discouragements. It was written by David. It talks about God great love for us.

V3 – God forgives all our sins
V3 – God heals all our diseases
V4 – God redeems our life from the pit
V4 – God crowns us with love and compassion
V5 – God satisfies our desires with good things
V6 – God works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

Isn’t it great? Almost every verse talks about the goodness of God. From verse 8 to verse 19, talks about His great love and compassion.

Psalms 104

This Psalms talks about the Lord’s wonderful creation and really speaks about His wonders. He praised God for His creation.

V1, 2 = Day 1 – God created light (Gen 1:3)
V2, 3 = Day 2 – God created the heavens and the waters (Gen 1:6)
V6-18 = Day 3 – God created land and vegetation (Gen 1:9-13)
V19-23 = Day 4 – God created sun, moon and stars (Gen 1:14-16)
V25, 26 = Day 5 – God created fish and birds (Gen 1:20-23)
V21-24, 27-30 = Day 6 – God created animals and man and plants for food (Gen 1:24-31)
