Today's passage reminded me that worship involves the discipline of the whole being. And that discipline changes our lives. As God describes through the garments, lifestyle, haircut, finance and other form of legislations and provisions for the levites, its reveals God's discipline in taking great lengths to describe the blessings and teachings to His followers.
It's no wonder historically the Levites are loyalists in God's kingdom. They are among the first to stay by God's side in times of rebellion. God's discipline in their lives not only teaches but transforms our lives. As we worship and serve, lets not be caught up by the tasks at hand but do them well as worship. Because worship changes our lives.
