Daniel 10 - 12 (17th September) - Sky

Daniel 10

This vision is not just about the Persia Kingdom, but it actually speak of a spiritual battle between angels and demonic forces. In This vision, the could most possibly is Angel Gabriel, could also be Christ but its unlikely due to (10:13) that Christ wouldn’t need help from the Angel Michael in a spiritual battle.

The vision is perplexed and perhaps only Daniel truly understood the vision as he had experience it with fear and weakness. But through this he stood up strengthened and continues walking in faith.

Daniel 11

In this chapter, all of Daniel prophecies were fulfilled. It strengthens my faith as I see how reliable the bible is.

After three more Persian kings reigned (V2), Xerxes came to the throne and tried unsuccessfully to conquer Greece in 480B.C. Daniel predicted the reign of Alexander the Great (V3) and, after his death, the disputes among his four generals (V4). The predictions of battles, marriages and intrigues came true, down to the last detail.

The next section, its description fits well Caesars of the Roman Empire. These emperors, who claimed divine power and authority, will command worship from all people in the empire.

Daniel 12

Daniel prophecies made it clear that suffering would be followed by justice and GOD’s eternal reign. For the exiles in Babylon, that meant new motivation to stay true to their faith.

An interesting question, what does GOD do to motivate you to stay true? Each and every one of us has their own encouragement, His love, His blessings, and His grace. But we all know its His Son and the Holy Spirit that is the motivator to our faith.

We may not know exactly what the vision meant. But it serves as an encouragement to us all.
